Becky Lynch & Charlotte Interview

Jojo interviews the two Divas about Paige’s actions when she abandoned the two of them and attacked Natalya. Jojo asks if Team PCB can get back in sync. As Becky and Charlotte are talking about how Paige is being a spoiled brat when Paige interrupts. Charlotte tells Paige she’s either with them or against them. Paige asks if that’s an ultimatum and Charlotte tells them she left them no choice. Charlotte and Becky leave and Paige runs into to Natalya, who tells Paige if she ever attacks her again like Paige did on Monday, she’ll be sorry.

Yay! A form of character development!

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ryback

Result: Ryback defeated Kevin Owens via count-out (Owens retains Intercontinental Championship).

Rating: 3.25 out of 5 stars

Owens immediately rolls out to start the match, but Ryback chases him down and hits him with forearms on the outside. Ryback goes for a gorilla press slam to Owens, but Owens slips out. Ryback hits him with a delayed vertical suplex and a Lou Thesz press. Owens moves as Ryback charges at him in the corner and causes Ryback to run shoulder first into the post. Owens is in control as we go to break.

Back from the commercial and Ryback is trying to fight his way back into it. Owens hits Ryback with his senton but only gets a two count. Owens gets Ryback in the corner and mocks his “Feed Me More” chant, but gets caught by Ryback who hits him with a belly-to-belly suplex.

Ryback avoids a Pop-Up Powerbomb and hits Owens with a spinebuster. He connects with a Meathook Clothesline, but Owens grabs the ropes once he’s put up for a Shellshock. The two roll to the outside and hit a double clothesline. Ryback rolls in at a count of 7, but Owens thinks better of it and stays on the outside for the count-out loss. Still the Intercontinental Champion, Kevin Owens.

After the match, Owens goes for an apron Pop-Up Powerbomb but Ryback escapes. They battle back in the ring, where Ryback hits Owens with a Shellshock to end the segment.

Evan’s Note: This match was well done, and makes Owens look wily, not a coward for just walking away. Ryback will get another shot again, probably at Hell in a Cell with someone else in the match. If it’s someone like Cesaro, it could be the match to steal the show.

Bray Wyatt is apparently going to address Roman Reigns tonight, so that feud isn’t over.
