Finn Balor: 3 Stars Who Could Join “Balor Club” at NXT TakeOver: Respect

Since coming to WWE NXT, Rhyno has mostly been used to put over other talent. He has taken multiple losses to Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin, among other young stars. The role for the former ECW Champion makes sense given where he is at this point in his career. However, Rhyno can only do this for so long before becoming irrelevant.

So why put him in the Balor Club?

The Man Beast would provide the roughness and intensity for the group. He would scare any opponent who tries to attack Balor, the club’s leader, and Gore them into oblivion. In other words, Rhyno would be one of the bodyguards for the stable.

Every group also needs a “fall man” and Rhyno would provide that. While we already noted one too many pins could be troubling, the group is going to lose matches here and there. Since Rhyno is the “veteran presence” of the group and doesn’t need to be built up, he would fit the bill as the one to take the losses for the team in tag team action.

Rhyno would be the first man to join at NXT TakeOver: Respect. Who else could join him and Finn Balor?
