Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Result: Roman Reigns defeats Braun Strowman via count out.

Before the match started, Reigns cut a promo on Bray Wyatt. He alluded to this being about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He talked about getting beaten up by the Wyatt Family in the past. However, Reigns’ promo wasn’t really going anywhere and the crowd turned on him.

Wyatt then came out and said Reigns put this tragedy on himself. He says a massacre is waiting for Reigns at Hell in a Cell. Reigns says he agrees and when they lock the cell, Wyatt will wish he was trapped in the cell with anyone but Roman.

For the match, Strowman immediately threw down Reigns. Reigns attempted a hold but got elbowed. Reigns followed up with some kicks and a headbutt before hitting multiple punches.

Strowman then shoved Reigns into the turnbuckle twice. Strowman took down Reigns with a clothesline and screamed over him. Reigns came back with a punch but got taken down with a scoop slam. Strowman followed this with a punch to the chest and a hold on Reigns’ neck.

Reigns broke out of the hold and hit a punch and kick. He attempted a clothesline but couldn’t get Strowman off his feet. He then hit multiple punches and attempted a Samoan drop but couldn’t lift Strowman. He then big booted Reigns out of the ring.

Reigns would come up with the drive by dropkick and go for it a second time but got clubbed with a clothesline.

Reigns would hit a punch on Strowman outside the ring. He slammed Strowman’s head into the announce table multiple times and took out Luke Harper. Reigns then hit a Superman Punch that drove Strowman over the announce table. Reigns would win via count out.

Kane Backstage

We see Kane speaking to Triple H on the phone. Kane reveals the main event but there’s bad reception. Triple H hangs up when he can’t hear Kane.
