Paige Explains Her Actions
Paige says there are only two people who she cares about believing her, and calls out Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Paige says she meant it when she was happy the women came up to the main roster. Becky Lynch asks if everything else she has said she meant too. Paige says she’d never jeopardize their family.
Charlotte starts talking and says Paige doesn’t respect her, and that Paige hates that it’s not about Paige. Team Bella comes out and Nikki says that she was a better Divas champion because things like this never happens. Charlotte shuts Nikki Bella up by telling her they should fight right now. Paige steps up and says Nikki will have to go through Paige first, and we have a match after the commercial break.
Nikki Bella vs Paige
Result: Bella def. Paige via pinfall (Rack Attack).
Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars
Paige gets control of the match and hits a series of knee strikes. Nikki gains control of the match and begins working on Paige’s arm, using armbars and strikes to Paige’s left arm. Nikki keeps taunting Charlotte, and hits a scoop slam for a two count.
Paige gets an opening and connects with a super kick for a two count. Nikki goes for the Rack Attack, Paige counters out and does a roll up for a two count. Nikki Bella hits an Alabama Slam, but Paige still kicks out at two. Nikki nails a forearm and a Rack Attack to get the win.
Evan’s Note: Why hasn’t Paige just been established as a loose cannon heel in the women’s division? The “Divas Revolution” won’t really start until these women have their own story, with maybe a few alliances still left. Paige turned on and destroyed team PCB, so why she is still here is confusing.
