The Deadman has been claimed
After going through an absolute war with Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell, the Undertaker was left lying in the ring, struggling to sit up. The Staples Center crowd tried to will the Undertaker up, and he was finally able to make it to his feet. Upon getting his legs back underneath him, we were interrupted by a familiar static-y scream and the Wyatt’s creepily made their way to the ring. Bray Wyatt, flanked by Eric Rowan, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman had their eyes set on the Phenom.
The four surrounded Taker and pounced, taking out the man that defeated Wyatt at Wrestlemania 31. They attack, like the family that they are and carried off the Undertaker like an animal that was just run over by a car. Earlier in the night, Wyatt was defeated by Roman Reigns and there were many, including myself, worried about the future direction of Wyatt. Those worries have been put to bed, at least partially. There is concern that they are feeding Wyatt to Taker once again, but there is hope. During last night’s PPV, they promoted Survivor Series as the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker’s debut. It would make sense for him to make an appearance at the show. A potential match between the Wyatts and the Brothers of Destruction and the Shield could be really intriguing. How they get there is another question, but they have options going forward.
