Seth Rollins Backstage

New Day approaches Rollins about needing partners for tonight. Seth agrees and says they must play by his rules. He says they need one more man and Xavier Woods comes up playing the trombone. He becomes their 5th and final member.

Sasha Banks Backstage

Sasha says there’s no anxiety for tonight. She says there’s no pressure on her tonight because she always delivers. She says of course they want Sasha and will prove she’s the Boss.

No. 1 Contender’s Match for the WWE Divas Championship
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks vs. Paige vs. Brie Bella

Result: Paige defeats Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Brie Bella via pinfall to become the No. 1 Contender for the WWE Divas Championship.

Rating: 3.1 out of 5 stars

Brie began by attacking Becky before Sasha stopped the pin. Brie and Sasha began shoving each other before Becky took them down. Paige came over but Lynch attacked her.

Becky would put an arm lock on Sasha. Banks responded with a take down until Brie came over. The Boss threw her into the corner but got rolled up by Becky for a near-fall. Becky tried a backslide for a near-fall.

Becky hit a leg take down for another near-fall. She followed this with three leg drops for a near-fall.

Brie came back with a dropkick off the top rope. She hit Brie Mode on Sasha and Becky. Paige came in with a big kick, though, only to get taken down and out of the ring by Becky. The British Diva then got shoved into the barricade before putting Becky into the steel steps.

Brie hit an elbow but got hit with the double knees by Sasha for a near-fall.

Sasha hit a big slap in the face for a near-fall and pushed Paige out of the ring. Brie would take Sasha down for a near-fall. Brie hit a running bulldog for a near-fall.

Paige would get a near-fall on Brie as we went to break.

We come back to see Brie hitting Daniel Bryan kicks on Sasha and Becky before Paige breaks it up with a near-fall. Brie then hit multiple kicks on Paige for a near-fall.

Brie took down Becky for a near-fall. Paige would toss her out of the ring and throw Brie into the corner. She hit a running knee and placed the Bella Twin on the top rope. Brie fought back with a few punches and kick to get her away. Sasha came from behind and grabbed Brie by the hair while going to the top rope. Paige met them there and elbowed both of them. She climbed to the top rope as well. This led to Becky hitting the Tower of Doom!

Becky attacked Paige with a T-Bone Suplex and a pump-handle on Brie. She put the Disarmer on Brie but got attacked by Sasha. She tossed Brie out of the ring but got rolled into the small package for a near-fall.

Becky hit multiple uppercuts but got hit with a neckbreaker by Sasha for a near-fall. Sasha put on the Bank Statement until Paige came in with a kick. She threw Sasha out and hit RamPaige on Becky for the win.

Afterwards, Byron Saxton interviews Paige. She calls the competitors she just defeated losers and insults the crowd. She says when she faces Charlotte for the title, everyone will be losers if they root for the Nature Girl.

Rob’s Note: This was expected but it makes sense. Paige vs. Charlotte at WWE Survivor Series should be pretty fun.

Survivor Series 2014 Recap

We get a look at the 5 on 5 Survivor Series match from last year. For some absolutely bizarre and mind-boggling reason, WWE left out Sting’s company debut. This may be the biggest slap in the face to someone on TV by WWE I’ve seen in some time.
