Bayley vs. Payton Royce
Result: Bayley wins via pinfall (Bayley-to-Belly).
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
Royce gets the upper hand early, hitting an arm drag. Bayley gets nailed with a running knee and uses her foot to choke Bayley in the corner. Bayley turns it around quick but gets caught with a spinning kick for a two count. Bayley hits a diving elbow and a running bulldog but only gets the two count. Bayley catches Royce with a Bayley-to-Belly for the win.
Nia Jax and Eva Marie come out post match and sadly Eva has a mic in her hand. Nia mercifully tells Eva she doesn’t need to talk for her. Nia says shehas been destined for greatness since Day 1 and tells Bayley she’ll see her in London.
Evan’s Note: Impressive showing by Royce, showing off some new-found viciousness. But what was with the rose? It was pretty odd how many times she sniffed it during her entrance. Good stuff in the rest of the match though.
Also thank you Nia for taking the mic away from Eva. Ears all over the world thank you tremendously.
Balor & Crews Backstage
Balor is getting ready for their match backstage. Crews says he’s been calling Balor all week and hasn’t gotten any answer. Balor says that he’s fine, they just have to focus on the task of taking out Joe and Corbin. Crews says they have unfinished business and he’ll be gunning for the title once he takes care of Corbin.
