WWE TLC Preview

We get a look at the Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus match for Sunday before the SmackDown main event.

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos vs. The League of Nations

Result: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos defeat The League of Nations via pinfall.

Rating: 2.4 out of 5 stars

Del Rio and Jimmy Uso start the match. Del Rio begins with a shoulder tackle before being hit with an arm drag. Jimmy hit a sharp right hand and tagged in Jey. Rusev tagged in and hit a spinning heel kick for a near-fall. He then slingshot Jey into the ropes.

We come back to see Sheamus in control of Jey. He begins smacking his chest with punches before Reigns comes in to stop it.

Ambrose tagged in and took down Sheamus with clotheslines and a missile dropkick. He hit a running forearm and running bulldog before hitting a few chops. King Barrett would take him down, though, and get Rusev in to dominate Ambrose. He would smack around Dean a few times for a one count.

Del Rio tagged in and got a near-fall. After a chin lock, he hit a backstabber on Ambrose for a near-fall.

Sheamus tagged in and pressed Ambrose’s head with his boot. He followed this with a driver for a near-fall.

Ambrose started fighting back with headbutts but got sent into the League of Nations’ corner. Rusev tagged in and put a bear hug on Ambrose.

Ambrose came back with the neckbreaker on Rusev and a tornado DDT before tagging in Reigns.

Reigns hit a few clotheslines and a Samoan Drop. He followed this with multiple forearms in the corner.

Rusev came back with a knee to the gut before being hit with a clothesline. Reigns hit a Superman Punch for a one count, as everyone stormed the ring.

Reigns hit the spear on Rusev for the win.

Rob’s Note: Going into TLC, no one needed to take a pinfall except for Barrett, who never tagged in. Despite being in this stable, he has been given nothing notable to do. WWE doesn’t see him as much, which is a shame. However, he should have taken the pin instead of Rusev, who’s match with Ryback on Sunday is more meaningless than ever. But hey, this is WWE in 2015.

Overall, this episode of SmackDown was nothing to go out of your way to watch.
