Sheamus (c) vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight title

Just when Roman Reigns thought he had finally won the WWE title at Survivor Series, Sheamus cashed in his chance at greatness and defeated the weary Reigns. A five-minute and fifteen second reign is not exactly what Reigns had in mind, but on Sunday he’ll get another (sixth, to be exact) chance at winning the title.

While loosely associating with The Authority, Sheamus started up his own stable that includes Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, and Wade Barrett, also known as The League of Nations. With so much backing, it seems highly unlikely he will be losing the title at this PPV. From a business point of view, Reigns actually winning the title won’t happen until potentially the Royal Rumble, but more likely at WrestleMania 32. With John Cena rumored to be getting a lighter schedule going forward, WWE is desperate to find a babyface to replace him, and Reigns looks to be their choice.

Next: 3 Possible Finishes for Sheamus vs. Reigns

Whether or not wrestling fans like Sheamus as champion, or Reigns as potentially the next champ, this match is under Table, Ladders, and Chairs rules, which should provide for some pretty awesome spots. When it’s time to shine, both of these wrestlers have stepped up, and I’m hoping we’re in store for at least a really physically, hoss match between these two. Most likely Reigns will get screwed out of the win and Sheamus will continue his run at the top.

Pick: Sheamus (99.9% Confident)
