WWE NXT Live Event Results from Blackpool, England

Check out the live event results from today’s WWE NXT live event from Blackpool, England.

WWE NXT live events have been under way in developmental’s first tour of the United Kingdom. The series of events started on Wednesday, Dec. 10 and will conclude this Wednesday, Dec. 16, with NXT TakeOver: London. The show will take place at Wembley Arena.

Today’s WWE NXT live event took place from Blackpool, England. The show featured another stacked card with terrific matches.

So what happened at the show? Check out the results below, which were sent in by Fraser and Olly.

• Dash and Dawson defeated Enzo Amore and Big Cass to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship.
• Asuka defeated Alexa Bliss.
• Bull Dempsey defeated Tye Dillinger. This was a comedic match that kept fans entertained throughout.
• Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated Blake and Murphy. The crowd was apparently so hot for Gable and Jordan that the match was delayed for 5 minutes and wouldn’t stop chanting their names.
• Chant highlights by this point include – “Gable, Gable Gable, Jordan, Jordan Jordan”, “You’re just a sh*t Robbie Savage!” (to Blake), “TWO! TWO! TWO!” (when Tye Dillinger only managed a two count), and “Save, the Gable, Save, the Gable”.

• William Regal came out to talk about the rising stars of WWE NXT.
• Nia Jax defeated Carmella. This match never got going and Nia drew little reaction from the crowd.
• Samoa Joe defeated Apollo Crews. This was an entertaining that saw Joe kick out of Crews’ finisher and win with the Muscle Buster.
• A promo was shown for the Slammy Awards, which drew a loud “No! No! No!” chant from the crowd.
• Bayley defeated Emma to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. The Blackpool crowd loved Bayley, who was waving to them and encouraged their chants. She apparently looked visibly emotional and shocked at the crowd support she received. Dana Brooke was thrown out of the match for cheating.

• Finn Balor defeated Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin to retain the NXT Championship. This one was called “easily the best match of the night”, with all three putting on an excellent showing. Balor hit Coup de Grace on Corbin for the win. Zayn said a few words after the match and brought out WWE NXT trainer Robbie Brookside.

Fraser said the following about the WWE NXT live event: “Overall, this was a superb event and easily the best WWE-branded event that I have attended. The NXT stars worked hard to put on a great show, and the crowd was on fire all night.”

Olly said the following as well: “An outstanding show which will ultimately be remembered for the ten-minute-long chants for Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. The atmosphere was simply incredible, with major pops for Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, Bayley, Finn Balor and Sami Zayn, but nothing can quite match the reaction for Jordan and Gable.”

The WWE NXT live tour of the UK will continue on Monday with a trip to Cardiff, Wales.
