Asuka vs. Emma

One of the new sensations of the NXT Women’s division is Asuka. Her presence in NXT has been a huge bolster to a division that lost a lot of it’s biggest performers in the past few months. In the absence of Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte, Asuka has kept the quality of in-ring competition in the women’s division extremely high.

That did not sit well with Dana Brooke and Emma.

Dana and Emma have decided that they do not like Asuka, and want her out of NXT. Dana had her shot at Asuka in what was the latter’s debut match at the last TakeOver event. That match did not end well for Dana, so can Emma fare better?

Prediction: Asuka

It could stand to reason that Emma and Dana Brooke will cook up some scheme to take out Asuka and deal the newcomer her first loss in NXT, but Asuka and her push are much more important to NXT.

Emma is established on the developmental brand and can suffer a loss. She’s a talented performer who can put on a great match with Asuka and put her over.

If NXT wants to continue this feud until the next TakeOver event, then Emma will get the win here. Instead I see Asuka moving on from this feud to take on a different opponent (like another talented newcomer) so she gets the decisive win over Evil Emma.
