NXT TakeOver: London Results: Apollo Crews vs. Baron Corbin Video Highlights
Apollo Crews seeks revenge on Baron Corbin for costing him the NXT Championship in an anticipated match at NXT TakeOver: London!
The future of NXT could be right here as young, athletic upstart Apollo Crews takes on the destructive Baron Corbin in a match that will likely signal the next challenger for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: London. This began when Crews and Corbin were the final two in a battle royale to decide the #1 contender to face Finn Balor. Crews came out on top, and a pissed off Corbin ultimately cost him the gold by interfering in the championship match. Crews finally showed his fired-up side by taking out Corbin soon after, but now these two blue chippers are ready to go head-to-head!
The Lone Wolf Baron Corbin is ready for action! Is he ready to hand Apollo Crews his first defeat?

He’s followed by Apollo Crews, soaking in the London crowd’s cheers!
The trash talk between these powerhouses began early!
The first big blow goes to Corbin who sends Apollo Crews into the steel steps! And more trash talk by Corbin on top of it!
Corbin is firmly in control, grounding the athletic Crews as he tries to get back into the ring. Then, more disrespect by Corbin!
So far this one has been all Corbin, with Crews unable to get any offense going. Corbin is eating it up as the London crowd let’s him have it! He doesn’t care what anybody thinks.
Finally Crews is able to use his speed to get the upper hand, eventually taking down Crews and hitting him with a sweet moonsault off the apron.
Corbin was able to regain the upper hand and went for the End of Days, only for Crews to flip reversal his way out of it in an awesome spot! Amazing agility!
But Crews’ speed was no match for Corbin’s ferociousness and power, and he caught up with the End of Days literally out of nowhere for arguably the biggest win of his career!
Travis’ Thoughts: Good speed vs. power match, ironically against two powerful superstars. Corbin’s offense is still too slow and uninspired for the most part, while Crews kept things lively with some innovative spots including that sweet flip reversal. This wasn’t where I expected Crews’ first pinfall loss to come, but it sets up what is likely to be a big title match for Crews against the winner of Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe.
