Roman Reigns Opens SmackDown

Roman Reigns starts with promo saying how good it felt to win the WWE title on Monday and do it on her daughter’s birthday. Highlights how he speared Hunter, Superman punched Vince and talks about how he doesn’t think he has many days left as WWE Champion.

Out comes Sheamus, who congratulates Reigns and tells him to savior the title before he takes it back. Sheamus announces The Authority has launched investigation and bans Reigns from arena. Reigns tells him if they want him to leave why don’t they make him. Sheamus brings out the “cops” and explains if he doesn’t leave he will be escorted out. Reigns tells Sheamus he still isn’t leaving, so down come the “cops” before Reigns takes them all out and raises the championship belt as we head to commercial.

DJ’s Note: Decent opening segment, I think Reigns still needs to develop on the microphone because he lacks the conviction that you see from guys like Bray Wyatt, and John Cena. Looks like Reigns will stay in the building and we will see him later tonight.
