Alberto Del Rio vs. Ryback

Result: Alberto Del Rio defeated Ryback via submission.

Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Never understood why the champion comes out first for the most part in the WWE, shouldn’t the champion enter last? You don’t see fighters like Conor McGregor or until recently Ronda Rousey enter in first, so why does Del Rio and other champions come out first? On to the match. Ryback and Del Rio start with tie-ups before Del Rio takes over on offense, with some head shots and a nice kick to the chest. Ryback counters and picks up On to the match. Just as Ryback gets ready to hit the Shellshock the League of Nations heads down to distract Ryback and Del Rio is able to sneak behind him and lay on the Arm Bar for the win.

DJ’s Note: Not a bad match, two different styles between Ryback and Del Rio but the two worked well together. Wondering if this will eventually lead to a Ryback vs. Del Rio feud as we head to the Royal Rumble. Nothing too exciting but a overall solid match.

Tyler Breeze Backstage  Tyler Breeze with Summer Rae in the back cutting a promo on his opponent Titus O’Neil, where out of nowhere we see Goldust head emerge from behind Breeze’s curtain and we see Rae spray hair spray at Goldust before he leaves. Not sure what the purpose of that was, but I can’t get enough Goldust. He was and still is a legend, definitely a Hall of Famer one day.
