WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 3 Reasons Why the Battle Royal Match was Great

The 2016 Royal Rumble ended up being very entertaining, more so than the previous few years. And here are a few reasons why it was so fun to watch.

The Royal Rumble is one the most anticipated PPV’s of the year. This is in due to the 30 man Royal Rumble match, that has helped launch the careers of  many WWE SuperStars. Each year the WWE Universe is chomping at the bit to see what big names will return, if a young star get’s a push, and who will go on to be the number one contender at WrestleMania.

This year we even had a brand new stipulation added to the illustrious match. Roman Reigns had to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the 29 other participants. He was unable to retain his title, as Triple H gained his 14th reign as a World Champion. More on that for the list of why Royal Rumble match sucked. Nevertheless, the match this year still had a lot of bright spots.
