Chris Candido

Chris Candido is on this list for what he was able to do outside of the WWE. His time as “Skip,” one-half of the Bodydonnas with Tom Prichard, isn’t the highlight of his career. Instead, it was his time in ECW as a member of The Triple Threat.

His real-life girlfriend Tammy “Sunny” Sytch played a big part in his development as a star, but Candido performed best when the lights were the brightest. His matches against Lance Storm in ECW are among the best that the promotion put together. He would have runs within WCW and TNA before his untimely death in 2004 due to a post-surgery blood clot.

Candido’s time in ECW showed he had the ability to be a name, even though he didn’t have the size of the bigger stars. His style included technical wrestling mixed in with high-impact maneuvers such as his trademark, the Blonde Bombshell.
