5. Y2AJ

Last Rank: 6/7

Week Highlights: Made things official.

Y2AJ has been publically confirmed by Chris Jericho and A.J. Styles, and they need to disband just as quickly as they have united.

Their new feud sounds like a good idea: Jericho, Styles and New Day are some of the WWE’s best; however, something feels limiting about this fledgling rivalry. All parties involved are main event players piddling around in the midcard.

That being said, the combined talent has been putting on stellar matches. Maybe this results in A.J. Styles getting his first taste of WWE gold in the form of the Tag Team Championship, but longtime Styles fans are already clamoring for something greater for the seasoned veteran.

4. Brock Lesnar

Last Rank: T.3

Week Highlights: Lived in recaps.

Brock Lesnar got the week off and was featured in numerous recaps where he assaulted Dean Ambrose. Usually, that kind of shameless use of recycled airtime makes the three-hour Raws feel that much longer; however, with Lesnar there’s an odd exception where people just need to be reminded that even if he’s not at the show, he’s looming out in the world.

As is typical with Lesnar, he’ll probably be back on TV in a week or two, Lesnar hasn’t had any issues with overexposure or underexposure in the last few years, and this time around is no different.
