WWE: Ringsider Package Review

A look at an experience with WWE’s Ringsider Package at a recent SmackDown event.

WWE in the last couple of years has created an exclusive and expensive VIP ticket package for their TV tapings and live events.  For TV tapings, they package this as the WWE Ringsider package which includes a seat in the first 3 rows and an extensive memorabilia package that includes the chair you sit in.  Here is my review of this exclusive package.

First, this package is not for everyone.  It is very expensive, running $500 per ticket.  The best part is for that money you are pretty much guaranteed to be on the front row unless there is a high demand for these seats.  At SmackDown in Cincinnati, only 15 of the $500 seats were sold.  So there were some people sitting next to me that paid $108 for a similar location but without the memorabilia.

Secondly, if you are a collector it is a must to do this package at least once.  I was very impressed with the items that were included with the ticket and the efficiency WWE and US Bank Arena officials distributed the items.  The first item you receive is a Ringsider backpack that contains an autographed photo and a very nice ticket holder plaque.

Inside the backpack, I was lucky and got an autographed Y2J photo along with the ticket plaque.  The Superstar is not guaranteed so I was very happy to receive Jericho’s autograph.

The ticket holder was also much nicer than expected.

Finally, the best part of the memorabilia was I got to keep the chair I was sitting in that featured stars such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, and others.

Overall purchasing the Ringsider package made for a very fun evening.  In addition to the really cool memorabilia package, I also got to interact with some of my favorite Superstars.  Being in the front row allowed me to experience getting a fist bump from Jerry “The King” Lawler, was able to shake hands with Superstars like Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, and Jack Swagger.  Plus at the end of the night was able to take a selfie with AJ Styles.

This experience definitely fulfilled a bucket list item.  If you can afford to save the money, I highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience.
