Can Kevin Owens retain his title against six opponents at WrestleMania 32?

Sometimes Kevin Owens’ mouth can get him in trouble, well, this was one of those times. For weeks, he’s bragged about being the best, about “KOmania,” and a distinct lack of competition worthy enough to challenge for his IC title. Along the way he ran into people like The Miz, Ziggler, and even his biggest foe, Sami Zayn, keeping them at bay as best he could. Even though Sin Cara, Stardust, and Zack Ryder also got in on the action, nobody could really say they were the true number one contender.

When Owens brought this to the attention of Stephanie McMahon, she quickly decided to just put Owens against everyone! Owens was angered by such a thoughtless decision, so Stephanie upped the stakes and made it a ladder match. So the question becomes; can Owens outlast 6 wrestlers, climb the ladder, and retain his title? Let’s see what went down in this potential show-stealing match!

All seven men come down individually with Sami Zayn getting the biggest pop of them all.

Owens and Zayn find each other alone in the ring almost immediately and start wailing away on each other.

Miz tries to go for the title early on, but is sent down to the mat.

With chaos all over the ring a number of wrestlers end up on the outside and Sami takes advantage by taking to the sky.

Not to be outdone, Sin Car with a springboard senton off the ladder!

It’s almost impossible to keep up with all the action, but here’s Owens with a nice neckbreaker. You’ll notice the polka dot ladder, which Stardust brought in as a tribute to Dusty Rhodes.

Sami yet again goes after Owens, who lands a sick frog splash while Sami lays helplessly on a ladder.

Huge elbow drop by Zack Ryder onto Miz, who’s been taking some nasty bumps tonight.

Sin Car goes for a long ride down, landing on Stardust who was just laying on another ladder on the outside!

Nearly everyone is cleared out and Miz gets his chance, but wastes too much time getting the title. Ryder sends him flying, gets the title, and the win.

An insane match that needs to be watched two or three times to catch everything. A ton of crazy bumps happened throughout, this will be tough to top. Giving Ryder the title is a strange pick, might be a short run for him, but a nice WrestleMania moment for him nonetheless.
