WWE WrestleMania 32 Results: Roman Reigns vs. Triple H Video Highlights

At WrestleMania 32, was Triple H able to keep his WWE title on the biggest stage of the year, or did Roman Reigns finally get his revenge?

After months of mind games, promos, tests, brawls, and stare downs, Roman Reigns, and Triple H will finally go one-on-one to decide who truly is WWE’s champion at WrestleMania 32. Time and time again Reigns has gone after the WWE title, having it in his grasp for a few weeks and even mere minutes thanks to a cash-in and a surprise return from Triple H himself to take the title from Reigns at the 2016 Royal Rumble. Will Reigns finally put Triple H down for good and become the face of the company or will the crowd boo him out of the stadium? Let’s find out what went down!

The match kicks off with Triple H almost immediately throwing Reigns out of the ring, starting with some mind games. The two go back and forth with the crowd seemingly behind Triple H in the early stages. Triple H goes with some heel tactics early giving Reigns a low blow while Stephanie distracted the ref.

Reigns slowly recovers and hammers Triple H with a big clothesline.

Action heads to the floor, where both get their heads bashed on the announcer table, Triple H then lands a nice swinging neckbreaker.

Triple H takes to the air to put Reigns down but gets caught with a punch to the face.

Triple H works his way back into the fight with a nice looking spinebuster.

Action back to the outside, Reigns lands a huge spear through the barricade, looks like he’s selling an arm injury after this move.

Triple focuses on Reigns’ arm, countering his superman punch with a Fujiwara armbar, that’s locked in for a long time until Reigns powerbombs his way out of the move.

Reigns lands a spear, but thanks to Stephanie pulling the ref out of the ring, Triple H had enough time to recover.

Stephanie didn’t appreciate the ref walking away from her, so she got in the ring and ended up getting speared by Reigns, taking her away from the match.

Triple H goes to his trusted sledgehammer, swings, misses, and eats another spear. Reigns goes for the pin and gets the 1-2-3 to become the new WWE World Heavyweight champion.

The crowd wasn’t at all into the match, doing all kinds of random chants along the way. Ignoring the heel/face alignments, the match itself just fell flat with a nice moment here and there, overall it just didn’t have the “big fight feel” you would expect from a WrestleMania main event. Reigns is now the champion without a heel turn or any kind of shenanigans, pretty weak ending to a long WrestleMania.
