What finishing move is Shinsuke Nakamura using in WWE?

At NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Shinsuke Nakamura made his highly anticipated WWE debut. This was rumored and spoken about for months after an announcement came at a Jan. WWE NXT taping. He would defeat Sami Zayn in what many called a Match of the Year candidate.

With his WWE arrival, it seems Nakamura is keeping a similar persona and move set to what he used in New Japan Pro Wrestling. This includes his finisher, which is a running knee strike to the head that he made famous.

In NJPW, this move was called the BomaYe (or Bomaye). Here is when Nakamura used the move on AJ Styles at Wrestle Kingdom 10 on Jan. 4, 2016.

Well, WWE has him using a different name for this match ending move.

As heard at TakeOver: Dallas, NXT commentator Corey Graves announced to the viewers that Nakamura’s finishing maneuver was called the “Kinshasa”. It’s the same move as the BomaYe, but with a different name. He used this to defeat Zayn.

This is a move that WWE fans will get accustomed to fast and as soon as Wednesday night when Nakamura takes on Elias Samson. It might make the Drifter drift away within minutes.
