WWE Money in the Bank 2016 Results: New Day vs. The Club vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Vaudevillains Video Highlights
By Carl Gac
What happened when the New Day defended their WWE World Tag Team titles at WWE Money in the Bank 2016?
The New Day have held the WWE World Tag Team Championships since beating Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, at Extreme Rules 2015. They have vanquished every team that has stepped up to face them ever since, but came up against three of the best teams in WWE, The Vaudevillians, Enzo and Big Cass and The Club team of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson at Money in the Bank.
Enzo and Cass come out first, with the hottest reaction of anyone in the match. With all the challengers in the ring, New Day enters into their usual schtick (even getting in an “Elite”dig in on Anderson and Gallows), it looks like it’ll be Kofi and Big E defending the belts tonight.

We get Kofi and Anderson starting up, both men exchange takedowns until Gallows tags in, Kofi ups the pace and hits a kick. Kofi and Enzo take down both members of the Club, we’re left with Kofi and Enzo in the ring. Both men battle to make a tag and eventually we end up with Big Cass and Big E in the ring. Aides English tags in, then Big E hits the splash on the apron, before everyone ends up in the ring brawling.
Things break down and we’re left with the two babyface teams in the ring facing off. English hits a big boot on Kofi then takes over in the corner. The Vaudevillians double team Kofi as they swap tags, until Anderson tags in and batters Kofi, we end up with both men down and Xavier Woods breaks out the trombone.
We end up with Enzo and English facing off, Gallows lowers the top rope and Enzo crashes to the floor. Gallows tags in and takes down Enzo with a massive kick. Enzo reverses him into a DDT and tags in Big Cass, who clears the ring. Cass hits the Empire Elbow on Anderson as he takes down every threat, eventually launching Enzo onto everyone else at ringside. Enzo and Cass hit the big splash, only for Gallows to stop the pinfall on Anderson (that really did look like a three count though?!?).
Kofi and Gotch end up in the ring, The Vaudevillians hit the Whirling Dervish on Kofi only for Anderson to break up the pin. Big E takes Gotch down off the apron, Kofi tags in Big E, Anderson tags in of the back of English, The Club hit the Magic Killer on English but Big E breaks it up. Cass takes out Gallows, which allows Kofi and Big E to hit the double team on English to get the three count and keep the WWE World Tag Team titles.
New Day rocks on to day 302 as champions at Money in the Bank.
