WWE Battleground 2016: Predictions

WWE Battleground takes place Sunday, July 24, here are our predictions.

WWE Battleground takes place from the Verizon Center in Washinton DC, Sunday night starting at 8pm Eastern only on the WWE Network.  There will be a kickoff show that will start at 7pm also on the WWE Network.

The show will feature 9 matches including at least one match that will take place on the kickoff show.  This will also be the last non-major WWE PPV event that will feature Interbrand matches now that the WWE Draft is complete.  There are some major things at stake as the main event will determine which show will hold the WWE Championship among other stories.

Before we make our predictions let’s take a look at the full card.

Women’s Match:
Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

United States Championship:
Rusev (w/Lana) (c) vs. Zach Ryder

Intercontinental Championship:
The Miz (w/Maryse) (c) vs. Darren Young

Women’s Tag Team Match:
Sasha Banks & Mystery Partner vs. Charlotte & Dana Brooke

Six man tag team match:
The New Day vs. The Wyatt Family

Singles Match:

John Cena, Enzo & Cass vs. The Club

WWE Championship Triple Threat Match:
