WWE Battleground 2016: Predictions

Tag Team Match:
The Usos vs Breezango

This will be the first match of the brand extension era and will feature two teams that were both drafted to SmackDown.  The match will take place on the Battleground Kickoff Show which starts at 7:00 PM ET on the WWE Network as well as social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, the WWE App and Youtube.

The match itself pits two teams that both should be able to put on an excellent show.  The fact that both teams are from SmackDown should start the path of WWE building to a new tag team championship for the SmackDown brand.  Using this match to springboard that would be an excellent idea.

In this match, I would fully expect that the faces should go over in the match.  However, The Uso’s lost some momentum when they were teamed up with Roman Reigns in his battles with AJ Styles and The Club prior to Roman’s suspension.

In the end, this is the perfect match to fire up the crowd and for the match to end just before the main part of the show would begin.  As cool as it would be to see Tyler Breeze finally get a push, since this is on the preshow it will be The Usos all the way.

Prediction:  The Usos.
