Report: WWE Releases Former Tough Enough Star ZZ Loupe
On Thursday morning, WWE reportedly released former Tough Enough star Zamariah “ZZ” Loupe.
Following the 2015 season of Tough Enough, WWE signed a handful of competitors from the show, including Amanda “Mandy Rose” Saccomanno, Patrick Clark, Mada Abdelhamid, and Daria Berenato. This was beside winners Josh Bredl and Sara Lee.
Arguably the most popular person from the show from Zamariah “ZZ” Loupe, who made the finals of Tough Enough. WWE signed him after the season concluded. ZZ was praised by the coaches for his unique charisma, but work ethic and weight was always a question. This was seen in the first season of WWE Breaking Ground as well.

It seems Loupe’s time in WWE has come to an end, though, as Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the company released him on Thursday.
ZZ had recently made his NXT live event debut, and surprisingly defeated Oney Lorcan, so the timing of this is interesting. It would make this his one and only WWE match, if his brief one vs. Cesaro in 2015 doesn’t count. There’s no word on what he may have done to warrant this release from WWE.
