WWE Raw Preview: SummerSlam Fallout
WWE.com
WWE SummerSlam is in the books, so what can we expect to see on the first Raw after the Biggest Event of the Summer?
WWE SummerSlam is difficult to describe. The show wasn’t necessarily bad, but there were so many odd moments that it certainly doesn’t stand out as a great or even good show. Between the ending to Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton, Jon Stewart being involved again, Charlotte regaining her title, the horrendous design of the Universal Championship, and Rusev vs Roman Reigns not even happening, SummerSlam left a lot to be desired. That’s disappointing, especially given all the potential it had going into the event given the match card.
But that’s in the past, and now we move on to tonight’s edition of Raw. With all the odd happenings that occurred last night, tonight might give us at least a few answers as to where things will go from here.
According to PWInsider, Charlotte won the Women’s Championship back because Sasha Banks needs time to recuperate from nagging injuries. If that’s the case, who will be her next challenger with Clash of Champions just a few weeks away? And what will come next in the story of the New Day vs Gallows and Anderson now that Big E is back in the mix? All of this and more could be answered tonight. Let’s delve into what else could be on tap for tonight’s WWE Raw.
