What happened between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt at WWE Backlash?
A potential showdown between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt has been brewing for some time now. In September of last yea,r the entire Wyatt family set their sights on The Viper, attacking him mercilessly on numerous occasions. But before Orton could exact his revenge, he re-aggravated an old shoulder injury requiring surgery that put him out of action for close to 10 months.
Upon return, and after a vicious beating at the hands of Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Orton returned to the Smackdown brand and immediately resumed his feud with Wyatt. Will he be able to get the revenge he wasn’t able to before his injury? Will Wyatt, now on his own, be able to thrive? Their battle at Backlash will tell the tale.
Before the match can begin, a video is shown of Wyatt attacking and injuring Orton backstage. Orton is unable to compete and Wyatt comes out to hear the 10-count.

However, Wyatt is not off the hook and it is announced he’ll wrestle a no holds barred match with Kane. Yay.

Kane continued his assault and began to set up one of the announce tables before Wyatt surprises him with a shot from the ring bell. Back inside the ring, Wyatt has a chair and he uses it to drop The Big Red Machine.

Wyatt wasn’t done with chair as he drove another shot to Kane’s ribs for a 2 count. But Kane wasn’t done, delivering a DDT to Bray on the chair. After a couple elbows, Kane delivered his patented sidewalk slam.
