Check out the video highlights from the match between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt at WWE No Mercy.

The mind games between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton came to a head at WWE No Mercy.

Orton and Wyatt were originally supposed to face off at WWE Backlash. After Wyatt called out Orton for no longer being the predator he was, their grudge escalated in the weeks leading up to the September pay-per-view. But the concussion sustained by Orton at SummerSlam kept the match from happening.

Fast forward a few weeks and the psychological warfare continued. Orton escalated the feud by invading Wyatt’s cryptic home. And the Viper took it to the next level by beating Wyatt at his own game and trapping him in a storage unit.

But Wyatt was undeterred, and the eerie Eater of Worlds remained focused on taking out Orton. So the two men were ready to tear each other apart as No Mercy arrived.

The fireflies were out as Wyatt made his entrance.

The match started with an intense stare-down. After a moment, the two locked up, before Wyatt broke into his deranged upside-down stare. Orton knocked Wyatt out of the ring, forcing the Eater of Worlds to reevaluate his situation.

But Wyatt recomposed himself as he reentered the ring. The veteran Orton wasn’t rattled, though, and he continued to take the fight to Wyatt. The action spilled outside, and Orton went for the RKO, but Wyatt reversed over the announce tables.

Next, the steel steps came into play, with Wyatt setting up the largest platform for his offence. But before he could make anything of it, Orton disrupted the attack.

The two men rolled back into the ring; however, Wyatt was in firm control of the match. After failing to connect with Sister Abigail, Wyatt continued to press on Orton, but the Viper wasn’t going down without a fight.

The tides turned when Wyatt went for a senton of the top rope.

Orton took over, using his unique moveset to down Wyatt.

After some back-and-forth, with Orton trying an RKO and Wyatt another Sister Abigail, the two men found themselves on the mat again. Again, the action spilled outside, and Wyatt managed to get Orton on top of the steel steps.

However, Wyatt went for the senton again and missed, landing on the steel. Orton took over, teasing a pair of table spots along the way. But, even so, Orton pulled Wyatt back into the ring and hit his signature DDT.

But as it looked like Orton was about to win the match, Luke Harper returned out of nowhere and attacked Orton.

The assault was enough to get Wyatt the three-count, and the Eater of Worlds walked out of the match victorious. No Mercy went off the air with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper celebrating the win.
