The WWE is the home of a large number of wrestlers, announcers, and other talents. The following are five employees who have been lost in the shuffle.

WWE fans have usually kept an eye on who is released and who still has a job after long periods of absence on television. For years, fans would joke about how long someone like JTG was still employed. The man was last seen having lost to Santino Marella in September 2013 and wasn’t on television for nearly a year.

JTG was finally released from the WWE in June 2014, which shocked some fans. Not that they let him go, but that he was still employed with the Leader in Sports Entertainment after such a long period of time away from any type of WWE programming. However, there are always going to be a number of superstars who are still employed despite rarely being seen on television.

It can be hard for everyone to be on WWE television at one time – even with Raw being three hours and SmackDown being two hours. Even with the WWE having their own streaming network. It’s even harder to have time on television with the veterans like John Cena and Randy Orton. There’s also the influx of independent wrestling superstars like Kevin Owens and AJ Styles creating main event depth.

With all of the superstars expected to be called up from NXT in the next five years, there is going to be a lot of people who will continue to lose opportunities. Fans are likely taking a look at the list of superstars on WWE.com and there are some names they have likely forgotten are still on the payroll.
