Kevin Owens had an eventful night on WWE Raw and even got into a Twitter spat with Goldberg afterward.
Kevin Owens and Goldberg are set to square off at the WWE Fastlane 2017 pay-per-view for the WWE Universal Championship. This came after Chris Jericho accepted the match on Owens’ behalf, which played into Monday’s episode of Raw’s festivities with the Festival of Friendship.
We’re still two weeks away from Goldberg’s next appearance on Raw, but he had an interaction with Owens on Monday. However, this came on Twitter after the show.
In what seemingly is a response to Owens and Jericho’s Festival of Friendship, the former WCW World Champion took to his page to call them “morons”.
Morons....

Now we’re just a few hours past Owens becoming as villainous as he’s ever been before. With this response to Goldberg, though, it may make you like him a little more with this vicious response:
For those who don’t know what Owens is referencing, Goldberg entered a venue for an episode of Raw in January by doing his usual locker room entrance. This saw him bang his head on the room’s door, cutting himself open and having blood drip from his forehead during his promo. It didn’t help that he greeted kids on his way to the ring either.
A warning that there is blood in the video below for those who may be able to handle it:
It’s a sharp jab from Owens here, one that blows away Goldberg’s single word. They’ll likely get the chance to go face-to-face before Fastlane before battling for the Universal Championship. With Brock Lesnar waiting for Goldberg at WrestleMania 33, it’s possible we get a title change out of this.

So Kevin Owens’ night would be successful on TV and online. Now he’ll look to parlay this into a run that brings him to WrestleMania 33.
