With some shocking turn of events to conclude SmackDown Live last week, is the main event at Wrestlemania subject to change?

Fresh off of his first WWE Championship match victory, Bray Wyatt was greeted with “You Deserve It!” chants from the crowd last week as he opened the show. After explaining how the Era of Wyatt had begun, former champion, John Cena would come out to critique Wyatt somewhat, stating that nothing is deserved in the WWE, it’s earned. Of course, Cena was to face Wyatt one-on-one after invoking his rematch clause later in the night on SmackDown.

AJ Styles would then enter the mix, claiming he deserves his title shot before Cena. SmackDown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan, being the crowd pleaser that he is, ultimately decided to have the main event become a triple threat match. This match would then decide who is the best man of the three and who will go on to main event Wrestlemania against Randy Orton. Wyatt would hit Cena with Sister Abigail once again, solidifying his place at the top of SmackDown Live. Orton later stated that he would remain Wyatt’s servant and elect not to face him at Wrestlemania.

Mickie James would also request an Elimination Chamber rematch last Tuesday night on SmackDown Live. This was her chance to get even with Becky Lynch after she defeated James just two nights prior. James would come away with the victory, but not without controversy, after faking out Lynch. James played off an injury quite well, which caught Lynch off guard and was then hit with the Mick Kick. Their rivalry is not yet over, though I don’t think they will meet in the ring this week. Now, let’s get into the predictions for tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.
