Kevin Owens Destroys Chris Jericho at WWE Live Event in Germany (Video)

At a WWE live event in Regensburg, Germany, Chris Jericho appeared and took a beating similar to what had been seen on Raw from Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens put Chris Jericho out of action following their Festival of Friendship segment on WWE Raw earlier this month. This saw Owens present Jericho with “The List of KO”, also including Y2J’s name on the list. It led to a beatdown from the WWE Universal champion, putting his former best friend out for the previous episode of Raw.

Over the past handful of days, WWE have been touring through Germany, with Regensburg being one of the stops. This saw Jericho appear much like he did earlier in the week — on crutches and with a neck brace on. He cut a promo about this on Saturday, but ended up being attacked by Owens. He got laid out with a powerbomb to close the physical part of the segment.

Afterward, WWE posted a video of the Fozzy lead singer being attended to by officials:

It’s somewhat interesting that WWE are acknowledging this. They usually brush off live event incidents like this, as they are usually standalone or one-night-only occurrences. So this may mean Owens’ latest attack is mentioned on the February 27 episode of Raw, potentially putting Jericho out for a second consecutive week. That could set up a return for the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view on Sunday, March 5. KO is set to defend the Universal Championship against Goldberg at the show.
