While last week’s battle royal failed to deliver a new number one contender, SmackDown Live looks to rectify that issue tonight. A jam-packed show awaits, with the main event holding major implications for WrestleMania.

Following Naomi’s unfortunate injury, the title was vacated and Alexa Bliss emerged as the new champion last week on SmackDown Live. WrestleMania now appears to be her stage to defend the championship, with her opponent still being up in the air.

As Bray Wyatt awaits an opponent for WrestleMania, what is in-store for his teammate Randy Orton? Since giving up his title shot two weeks ago, Orton seems to be without direction. Hopefully, tonight will bring the Viper more direction on SmackDown Live.

Over the past several weeks, The Usos have set their sights on American Alpha and their tag team titles. A match between the two isn’t too far off in the distance, and could possibly happen sooner rather than later.

Assaulting Nikki Bella during her match with Natalya last week, it appears Maryse will be competing inside the ring once again. This seems to confirm her teaming alongside her husband The Miz against John Cena and Nikki at WrestleMania.

Although he has yet to enact revenge on Baron Corbin, Dean Ambrose isn’t one to give up. Expect him to search for the Lone World yet again and attempt to avenge his beating from last week.

Due to the controversy surrounding the battle royal main event from the week prior, AJ Styles and Luke Harper will battle here tonight. The winner will become the new number one contender for Bray Wyatt’s WWE Championship.
