Jessie Godderz vs James Storm

Result: Storm def. Godderz via pinfall

The former BroMans Jessie Godderz seems to have the number of the DCC.  He has defeated both Kingston and Bram as once again he battles another member.  Storm is alone tonight as that has been the issue with the previous week’s matchups.  James Storm is in trouble as Godderz is firmly in control but Kingston distracts the referee.  Godderz locks in the Adonus Crab but Bram hits him with a chair which is followed up by the Last Call Superkick.  James Storm literally kicks the momentum from Jessie Godderz as Storm is victorious.

The Godderz versus the DCC feud doesn’t make that much sense to me logically but I am glad that the DCC is back on top.  It tells a logical story that the numbers game is what keeps the DCC strong.  This could be a way to recruit a new member and make sure that the numbers are always on their side.  I would like to know how Godderz has such an advantage on the DCC or is it just the strength in numbers?

TNA X-Division Championship Match
Trevor Lee (c) vs Andrew Everett

Result: Lee retains the X-Division Championship

Andrew Everett speeds up the pace early in this match with a pair of dives on Lee.  The smash mouth style of Trevor Lee allowed him to fight back into the match.  Both men know each other quite well from their former partnership and it was a balanced match.  Everett seemed like the new X-Division Champion after a hurricanrana turned into a facebuster.  It was a matter of time but Gregory Helms grabs the leg of the referee and took Everett’s focus off of the match.

The X-Division seems to be stacked with relatively unknown talent.  Andrew Everett has been underutilized during his time and Trevor Lee seems to be just coming into his prime.  Even DJ Z is somewhat unknown to the rest of the world.  I am hopeful that this is a longer rivalry because these two have both the talent and the chemistry to make this into one of the best feuds of the year.

Broken Matt Hardy wants Jeff Hardy to test his broken abilities as he searches for Vincent Van Gogh.  Hardy had a powerful premonition because the numbers will not be in the Hardys favor during their next stop.
