WWE Fastlane 2017 Results: Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman Highlights

Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns finally get their hands on each other but who came out on top at Fastlane?

Roman Reigns has been trying to figure out his next path to the Universal Championship but was met by Braun Strowman before Fastlane.  The Monster Among Men has been running through everyone in his way since separating from the Wyatt Family after the brand split.  He cost Reigns his opportunity at the Universal Title a few months ago at Royal Rumble against Kevin Owens.

Since that time, both Reigns and Strowman have been intent on facing one another.  They finally get their chance at Fastlane which could put them on another collision course at WrestleMania.

There’s a power struggle begins the match as both men jock for position but it seems like Reigns establishes his pace early.  Strowman fights back out of the corner with a spinebuster and the tide seems like it has turned.

Strowman added insult to injury with by using a Samoan drop on Reigns.  Braun grounds Reigns in an attempt to slow his pace from early in the match.

Roman Reigns tries to fight his way back into the match but Strowman shuts down his offense.  Strowman catches Reigns as he attempts his drive by kick but it only fires him up.

The comeback is in full effect by Reigns as he starts to mount some offense.  He even uses Strowman’s attacks against him to send him to the outside of the ring.

Reigns connects with the drive by on his second attempt but his spear is caught into a powerslam through the announce table.  He tries to finish the match with his signature spear but Strowman kicks out at two.

The huge moves of the Roman Empire cannot take the big man to the ground.  Strowman tries for a top rope splash but misses and is met with a spear.

Roman Reigns gives Braun Strowman his first defeat.
