Follow along with our review of Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown.

Due to a backstage segment during the previous episode of SmackDown Live, John Cena and Nikki Bella will team up for the very first time. Carmella and James Ellsworth are their opponents for the night, and if you seriously believe they have a chance of winning please stop reading this article.

While the tag team division wasn’t featured last week, this isn’t going to be a continuing trend. American Alpha’s developing rivalry with the Usos will most likely be on full display, helping to lead into what will be a stellar Tag Team Championship match.

In a highly competitive encounter, AJ Styles defeated Luke Harper to become the new No. 1 contender. However, Randy Orton’s announcement of wanting to face Bray Wyatt has changed the playing field. So for the first time ever, AJ Styles will face Randy Orton on SmackDown Live. The winner will become the undisputed number one contender, going on to compete for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

Now that her feud with Mickie James appears to be over, what is next for Becky Lynch? Could a feud with Alexa Bliss be on the horizon?

Despite losing against AJ Styles, Luke Harper remains one of the top rising stars on SmackDown Live. Hopefully, tonight brings some clarification as to what is next for the big man.

Although they didn’t come to blows last week, Baron Corbin and Dean Ambrose will be out for blood tonight. Odds are that this episode of SmackDown Live marks the next chapter in their ongoing feud.
