Matt Hardy confirmed the recent rumors of him talking to WWE, but also took a funny jab at Vince McMahon.

Jeff and Matt Hardy recently joined Ring of Honor at their Manhattan Mayhem show, appearing for them weeks earlier than expected. They are set to stay there through the April 1 Supercard of Honor show, which had been scheduled for most of 2017.

Before the ROH appearance, Pro Wrestling Sheet had reported that the Hardys were in talks with WWE. Things were apparently looking “good” too.

In a recent video on TMZ, they caught up with Matt Hardy and asked him about the WWE negotiations. He confirmed them, saying he’s also talked with “every promoter that runs every major wrestling organization across the world.”

To finish it off, Hardy said that if Vince McMahon does anything “shady,” he will “delete” him.

Following this going up, Hardy said on Twitter that he’ll “delete” everyone from McMahon to ROH COO Joe Koff, “the Anthem Owl Man,” NJPW and EVOLVE.

To further the WWE speculation, people will look toward his tweets aimed at Raw Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. These came on Sunday and during the recent episode of Raw.

The return of the Hardys would be an instant upgrade to WWE’s Tag Team Division, which has been rocky at times. Whether it be Raw or SmackDown Live, either show could use the Broken Ones.

None of this is guaranteed, though. They could always stay with ROH after Supercard of Honor, continue to be paid well and work independent dates. With WWE, of course, the latter won’t be able to happen. It comes down to the dollars and cents here, maybe with creative control too, something that could be difficult to pull their way.

By April 2, we’ll have to see if Jeff and Matt Hardy are on their way to WWE. If they drop the ROH World Tag Team Championship, that may be the first step. After that, it’s a wait-and-see game.
