On Apr. 2, Brock Lesnar will have one more chance to defeat Bill Goldberg. With the Universal Championship on the line, the stakes have never been higher.

Since Survivor Series, Brock Lesnar has been embroiled in a feud with Goldberg. Losing to the current Universal Champion in just eighty-six seconds, the aura of the Beast Incarnate seemed to disappear overnight. It marked the first time he had been pinned since WrestleMania 29, making fans wonder if Lesnar’s run on top was indeed over.

Eager to avenge his embarrassment, Lesnar attempted to even the score at the Royal Rumble. Entering the ring at number twenty-six, he went on to annihilate every man inside of the squared circle. Once Goldberg came out, we believed that things were about to go south for the former WCW Champion.

In a surprise twist, Goldberg took is to his rival yet again. After just one spear he clotheslined Lesnar over the top to eliminate him from the match. A stunned audience reacted in disbelief as a bewildered Lesnar could only express his shock.

Right when it seemed as though we had seen the last of these two in the ring, their rivalry cemented another chapter. The following night on Raw, the Beast Incarnate challenged Goldberg to a final encounter at WrestleMania. His challenged was accepted, making their match the first official contest for the event.

At Fastlane, the stakes became even higher when Goldberg beat Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship. Now their match at WrestleMania will be for the richest prize on Raw. Lesnar has one more chance to defeat Goldberg for the very first time, and rest assured he will do everything in his power to make it happen.
