WWE SmackDown Live Results: Highlights, Analysis, and Grades for March 14
By Grant Mannis
In less than four weeks time, the men and women of SmackDown live will march into WrestleMania 33. What would happen on Tuesday’s show?
When SmackDown Live went off the air last week, AJ Styles was fuming over his loss to Randy Orton. Entering the gorilla position, he unleashed a verbal tirade on Shane McMahon. Both men were beyond frustrated by the end of the exchange, making fans wonder what is next for these two men.
Quite surprisingly, SmackDown Live was without the presence of WWE Champion Bray Wyatt last week. Should the Eater of Worlds return this week, his sight will no doubt be fixed on Randy Orton.
Focusing now on the women’s division, champion Alexa Bliss received some expected news during the previous episode. At WrestleMania, she will defend her championship against every available female on the roster. Angered by the decision, how will Bliss bounce back before the Show of Shows?
After being on the losing end of another beaten by Baron Corbin, Dean Ambrose finds himself in dire straits. If he is going to have any chance against the Lone Wolf, the Lunatic Fringe will need to step up his tenacity and aggressiveness.
For the second time in as many weeks, The Miz and Maryse were a talking point of SmackDown Live. Delivering a scathing promo to John Cena and Nikki Bella following a vicious attack, the power couple impressed greatly. How will their rivals Cena and Nikki respond to this development here tonight?
