Alberto El Patron Wants His Rematch With Lashley

Alberto El Patron is now the former Impact Wrestling World Champion after relinquishing the title after a controversial victory last week.  He comes out and blames it on backstage politics.  El Patron is ready to fight the biggest dog in the yard and calls out Lashley for his rematch.  Ethan Carter III comes out to stake his claim as the top star in TNA but El Patron isn’t budging on who he wants to challenge.  As EC3 starts to patronize Alberto, he baits him into a match with him and it is to be expected that there will be title implications on the line.

This should be an interesting storyline involving these three around the championship.  El Patron is speaking his mind and there has to be credited for freedom of expression.  I love the start to the new era of TNA Impact Wrestling because there a little edge to it.

Eli Drake and Tyrus vs Loredo Kid and Garza Jr

Result: Kid and Garza Jr. def. Drake and Tyrus via pinfall

Kid and Garza bring in another Impact debut over the last few weeks and should provide an exciting addition to the tag team division.  Loredo Kid uses his relatively unknown offense to take control of Eli Drake.  With a glimpse of momentum, Drake tags in Tyrus and they become dominant.  The speed of Loredo Kid brings in Garza Jr. and he changes the pace of the match.  As it looks like Drake had regained control, Garza rolls up Eli Drake for the upset victory.

The new additions to the Impact roster are exciting and shows the partnerships that have been created.  Drake and Tyrus being in control makes sense considering their chemistry but there may be trouble within.  Tyrus cannot withstand just getting a raise and there has to be more to his time in an Impact Wrestling ring.  There is definitely promise with the new team with their victory tonight.
