After almost two months of speculation and doubt over this happening, Seth Rollins vs. Triple H was finally confirmed for WrestleMania 33.

When Seth Rollins injured his knee in February, doubts were placed around his potential match with Triple H at WrestleMania 33. It would be the second consecutive year of this, as Rollins hurt his knee about five months before he was supposed to face the Game at WrestleMania 32.

Well, Rollins got his chance to confirm his first WrestleMania match since 2015 on Monday Night Raw. He had a segment with Triple H at the 9:00 p.m. ET hour to confirm this.

For a week, WWE had hyped Rollins signing a Hold Harmless Agreement for this bout. It would make it unsanctioned, a stipulation rarely used in WWE anymore. This means it technically “won’t count” and the company won’t be accountable if the Architect gets hurt.

So the two would meet to sign the contract. Triple H explained everything Rollins has to give up for this match, including being unable to sue WWE. He also said he will destroy what he created. The contract would eventually be signed, and we had our match made official.

This joins a slate of over one dozen bouts on a loaded card. Plenty will be seen, with this having the potential to be one of the most exciting on the show.

Rollins vs. Triple H is a match almost three years in the making. From the time the former NXT Champion joined the Authority in 2014, it set up a rising star against one of the biggest names to ever step into a WWE ring. This took a few years and obstacles to get through, but it will finally happen at WrestleMania 33.
