5. Braun Strowman

During the 2016 Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar had his first in-ring altercation with a rookie known as Braun Strowman. Learning the ropes as a member of the Wyatt Family, Strowman was still relatively new to the main roster. Despite this, from the moment he debuted, he was established as a legitimate threat. His size and physique alone were enough to warrant this, and as time went on he showed plenty of athletic potential as well.

Although he was eliminated by Lesnar on that night, the Strowman we know now is a much more vicious opponent. The powerhouse has been absolutely dominant on Raw, with very few men even surviving his attacks, let alone defeating him. He’s the type of athlete Vince McMahon dreams of, and thankfully for him, the fans buy into his character. Most nights, his crowd reactions are comparable to that of the top superstars on the roster. That means big money should he go up against the Beast, with the time to do so being sooner rather than later.

Whether WWE chooses the short or long route in regards to this feud, you can bet it’s eventually going to happen. One day soon, Strowman is going to cement himself as the most dominant force in the company. In order to do so, he needs to achieve an emphatic victory over Brock Lesnar. With the Beast Incarnate growing older, the time to do so is fast approaching. When he achieves that win, expect Strowman to become one of the most well-known stars of our generation.
