The RAW Tag Team Division

Highlights of the Division

So the RAW Tag Team Division was turned upside down in a span of 24 hours and it was amazing to watch. The Hardys returned back home and captured the RAW Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 33 in a ladder match. They dispatched Gallows and Anderson to retain their titles on RAW, so what’s left for them to do? Oh yeah, they’ll be facing Cesaro and Sheamus for the tag titles. What a hot start for this legendary tag team.

The Revival made their huge RAW debut and defeated the New Day. The New Day nearly a week ago was in a position to challenge the tag team champions after WrestleMania and now are potentially in a feud with the Revival for contenders status within the division. Oh has the times have changed.

The tag team of Cesaro and Sheamus will have one more run as a team to dethrone the newly minted RAW Tag Team Champions: The Hardys. It’ll be a tough challenge for the european bruisers but they have all the tools to make it a reality once again.

Gallows and Anderson lost their titles and are out of the title picture for the time being which is disappointing to say the least. They were credible as tag team champions and I hope that they reinvent themselves as the top challengers waiting in the wings of the division.

Enzo and Big Cass have dropped to the pretenders crop of the division and likely will stay there in the meantime unless they get moved to Smackdown Live. The Superstar Shakeup for next week should have the Realist Guys in the Room moved to Tuesday nights so they can have an opportunity to contend for the tag team titles.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
