The Tag Team Division Improves

When Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to WWE at WrestleMania, the brothers made a huge impact. Leaving with the Raw Tag Team Championship belts in their possession, they instantly were back on top of the mountain. Their reemergence brought instant credibility to what had been a rather weak tag division on Monday nights. Despite a handful of solid teams, the division had been plagued by creative inconsistencies.

One of the first feuds we are set to experience coming out of WrestleMania revolves around the Hardy Boyz and their new challengers. By defeating Enzo Amore and Big Cass last week, former champions Cesaro and Sheamus have become number one contenders to the gold. Their upcoming title match is destined to be a battle of speed versus power, and it’s going to be amazing to see.

In order to begin this feud properly, WWE would be wise to have the Hardy Boyz compete in singles action. We’ve already seen that they can work cohesively, but are they still as strong on their own? To anyone who watches any professional wrestling besides WWE this is very clear, however, not everyone is a diehard fan of the product.

To convince the casual fans these two veterans still have it, give them prime spotlight on Raw. Let Matt take on Sheamus in a tough brawl, and let Cesaro and Jeff deliver an instant-classic. The potential of the latter match in particular is enough to entice any fan to tune in.

Come Payback, two extraordinary teams will combat inside the squared circle. Could we see Cesaro and Sheamus become tag team champions yet again, or will the Hardy Boyz retain in another hard-fought encounter?
