Drew McIntyre is back in WWE! It’s his NXT debut, as he never appeared for the brand before his release. If you remember his last time on WWE TV, it was being obliterated by Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, sending the Scotsman and Jinder Mahal to the unemployment line.

From start to finish, McInyre looked like a force. His offense was lively and the power moves he showed off got the crowd off its feet. It came at the expense of Lorcan, who got a rare victory after

It came at the expense of Lorcan, who got a rare victory after TakeOver, but is back to his role of putting others over. He has an awesome running blockbuster, though.

Around the midway point, these two just started clobbering each other with stiff rights and lefts. It got the NXT Universe fired up, especially after the finishing move of Lorcan’s that flipped him like a pancake.

The former Chosen One is headed straight to the NXT Championship scene — there’s little doubt about that. He looked like the Main Event Superstar this show so badly needs. His post-match promo was strong too, talking about his love of the brand.
