The RAW Women’s Division
Highlights of the Division
Bayley will be the face of this division on how it has shaped up in the Superstar Shakeup. As the top babyface, she’ll have a whole host of challengers to contend with, some have been brewing on RAW for a while and some that were shipped from Smackdown Live. Bayley should be favored to retain her title against any of those challengers in the meantime.
Nia Jax has officially cleaned out the division with an emphatic win over Charlotte. It might have been an ugly beatdown but Nia has a legitimate title opportunity against Bayley and she can’t be denied that. Also laying out Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Bayley will definitely help her championship cause in the eyes of RAW GM Kurt Angle.
Sasha Banks playing the best friend role with Bayley has worn out it’s welcome. Any fan can telegraph where it’s leading to—The Boss attacking Bayley and demanding her title shot. The problem is there is no way to justify that action because Nia Jax has a legitimate claim to a title shot. She’ll need to beat Jax first in order to validate her potential claim as a top contender.
Alexia Bliss finally arrived to Monday Night RAW by addressing Bayley and Sasha Banks that she’s coming for the crown. Bliss had nothing left to accomplish on Smackdown Live and she’ll be in prime position to slowly climb up the ladder to the very top. She’ll most likely be facing Mickie James as they have unfinished business to address.
Dana Brooke and Emma will likely face each other next week to see which one of them is the better competitor. I really hope that they give enough time for the women to develop their rivalry.
These are the rankings for the division this week.
