A little over one week after making their WWE main roster debut, the Revival began their emotional goodbye to NXT.

The Raw and SmackDown Live after WrestleMania (the latter being new to this for 2017) have hosted post-show NXT call-ups over the past few years. It’s created buzz and provided a spark to the roster, including for the aftermath of WrestleMania 33. This saw Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger and the Revival all debut.

Over the weekend, all three embarked on their final WWE NXT live events. Regarding the Revival, they appeared at Thursday night’s show in Atlanta, GA.

After their match, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder broke character to celebrate with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. DIY then left them alone in the ring to embrace and get one of their last NXT crowd ovations. This included everyone saying “yeah” when the specific lyric came up in their theme music.

It’s one of the final events for the Revival in NXT, as they also appeared at another live show on Friday night. They faced Nakamura and Hideo Itami in a star-studded match.

We’ll see what’s next for Dash and Dawson, who now don’t have a feuding partner. It looked like something would happen with the New Day, especially after they injured Kofi Kingston on Raw. However, with the former Raw Tag Team Champions off to SmackDown Live, that changes things.

Since their debut came a short time ago, it’s possible the former two-time NXT Tag Team Champions run through enhancement talents or the lower end of the card. They can do this while the Hardys feud with Cesaro and Sheamus, or even go into something with Enzo Amore and Big Cass. This would be a second part to their feud that took place in NXT from 2015-2016.
