3. Alexa Bliss

Despite only just moving to RAW, Alexa Bliss has already spoken her intentions to dethrone Bayley in her debut appearance.

RAW lost their top women’s heel but in turn gained Smackdown Live’s. In all fairness, this seemed a smart decision. With Charlotte having done it all in RAW, moving to Smackdown Live keeps her act alive. The same goes for Alexa Bliss; she’s faced almost everyone on the Smackdown Women’s division for the title, and a move to RAW keeps her interesting.

Alexa Bliss, though only ever interacting on the main roster through the 5-on-5 match at Survivor Series, has history with Bayley. Whilst the pair were in NXT, Alexa Bliss challenged Bayley for her NXT Women’s Championship, albeit being unsuccessful in the end.

Their matches in NXT proved fun. But, after moving to the main roster, both stars have improved immensely. So, if Alexa Bliss is announced as Bayley’s opponent at Payback, we can expect a pretty solid bout.

However, there are things keeping this from becoming concrete.

When Alexa Bliss came out on RAW, so did Mickie James. The interaction the two had would indicate that the two have unfinished business to deal with before they go for the title. If that’s the case, a match between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James at Payback wouldn’t be farfetched.

Along with that segment, a certain women’s wrestler also came out to show her position amongst the other contenders…
