Beat the Clock Challenge
American Alpha versus The Colons

Result: American Alpha wins via pinfall (5:17)

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Before the next match, Charlotte was interviewed backstage about her title shot here tonight. Saying that she needed a new place to dominate since she had already done so on Raw, Charlotte states that she’s the greatest superstar in WWE history. Can we get a second opinion on that?

Back in the ring, American Alpha and ready to try and even the score with The Colons. Similar to the previous contest, the action between the two teams allowed all four men a chance to shine. Neither duo had the advantage early on, but a double team maneuver by Primo and Epico gave them control. Working Chad Gable, they stopped Jason Jordan from making the assist, nailing him with a stiff cheap shot.

Even with the two-man advantage, The Colons were unable to stop Gable from getting his second win. Laying waste to the heels, the former tag team champion survived until Jordan was able to make the save. They then went on to hit the Grand Amplitude for the pinfall victory. The two celebrated their win, with the time allotted coming in a five minutes and seventeen seconds. Knowing how quickly SmackDown Live matches can come to a close, this time may be broken later on.

Following this match, Rusev addressed his recent absence. Stating he won’t return until he is given a title shot at the Money in the Bank event, he also voiced his frustration over the whole Superstar Shake-Up.

Another segment took place which had the trio of Carmella, Natalya, and Tamina Snuka attempt to bully Becky Lynch into joining them. Odds are it didn’t work.
