3. Austin Aries Wins the Cruiserweight Championship

Austin Aries is the biggest star in the cruiserweight division. He carries himself like a true champion, cuts the best promos, and is the closest thing to being the ‘complete package’ of what a WWE superstar should be. Given all of that, we predict that Aries will defeat Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship at Payback.

Aries lost at WrestleMania 33 to Neville in controversial fashion when Neville attacked Aries’ eyes. Aries wants to get payback on Neville (pardon the pun), and will thus get his chance at the Payback PPV. With Aries now aware of the kinds of underhanded tactics Neville might use, he can prepare his strategy properly for this upcoming title match.

Just like at WrestleMania, this is likely to be the show-stealing match at Payback. Neville and Aries have good chemistry together, and will in all likelihood put on another stellar performance. Only this time, it’ll be Aries walking out with the gold (purple?) around his waist.
